Production Planner

Supply Chain | Baesa and Samal Plant

To oversee all the operations of Outbound Section in fulfilling Sales Orders, Material request, return to Vendors and all outbound inventory transactions. To help plan, implement, and control the effective and efficient flow, the shipment of products and related items between the warehouse and customers, warehouses and departments, in order to meet their requirement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectation
  • Analyze and prepare documents needed for production
  • Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand
  • Creates production schedule and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization
  • Maintains the production schedule and other reports as required
  • Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation
  • Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory
  • Interacts with paper mill operations on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from Quality Management Systems, Sales/Customer Service and Accounting
  • May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency

Continuous Improvement

  • Performance of Production Planner Key Performance Indicators review and recommends process improvements

Management Systems Compliance

  • Awareness and compliance to policies and procedures as required by the ISO 9001 Standards

Operational Continuity

  • Performs preparation of Monthly and Weekly Work Plan and Work Schedules
  • Performance of other related function, which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Attainment:

  • College Graduate 

Skills and Competency Requirements:

  • Understanding of ERP system and Microsoft Office products; strong computer skills.
o Strong organizational and communication skills.
o Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
o Good customer service/phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.

Experience:
